Rabbit Adoption Information

The Monterey Bay Rabbit site is dedicated to finding all rabbits loving, permanent homes. It was designed give you the basics to deciding if a rabbit is a perfect companion for you and your family.

New Mexico Rescue

334 rabbits were recently rescued from New Mexico from a person who tried to run a rescue group on their own but let it become out of control.
35 made their way to a Stockton animal rescue group but can't all be kept there. Thanks to Lisa from the AFRP, 10 new baby rescue rabbits will make their way to Monterey July first. New friends were made, rabbits lives were saved, and families will have a new loving family member. Thank you!

Volunteers are needed! How YOU can help!

Volunteer: Volunteers are always needed for the AFRP Rabbit Rescue Group! Read more about how you can help.

Donate: Donations are always greatly appreciated. Please visit our 'Help Wanted' page to see items the AFRP needs or how you can donate money.

Adopt: By adopting a rabbit, you really save two. The rabbit going home with you, and one to fill the newly open space. Visit our 'Adoptable Rabbits'.

Foster: The AFRP Rabbit Rescue always needs new foster homes. By housing a bunny until they have been officially adopted, allows our group to rescue as many rabbits as possible. Contact us for more details.

Host: Host a party or rabbit show at your home or location to help raise funds for the AFRP Rabbit Rescue Group. Contact us for more details.
